Inside our Kitchen
Where passion meets expertise
Founded in 2012, Crisp Catering & Events Ibiza has grown from a passion for fire, flavour, and connection into one of the island's leading catering teams. Our chefs, planners, and service team come from across the globe but what unites us is a shared passion for food, celebrations, and this island we all call home. Each team member brings their own heritage, skills, and creativity to the table, making Crisp a true blend of cultures and expertise. Together, we turn ideas into moments people remember.
Born in Motril, Spain, and raised in the UK, Nicolas brings a blend of Mediterranean soul and British precision to everything he creates. Moving to Ibiza in 2012, he founded Crisp Catering & Events, a company that grew alongside him, shaping his identity as much as he shaped its success. With a background in fine dining and a love for fire, flavour, and honest hospitality, Nicolas has built a reputation for crafting bespoke menus that feel personal and effortless. From designing menus to leading the team, he ensures every detail reflects both the couple and the island that inspires them. After catering what feels like a lifetime of Ibiza weddings, he’s only ever been a guest at one - proof that for him, the joy is in creating them.
Originally from Patagonia, Argentina, Tom brings warmth, structure, and a steady calm to every event. With over 15 years of hospitality experience, he leads Crisp’s front-of-house team with quiet confidence and a sharp eye for detail. Known for his composed presence and people-first approach, Tom ensures service runs seamlessly. His natural sense of timing and intuition keep the team in sync and every guest at ease, the kind of host who notices what you need before you even ask.
Born in Chile and based in Ibiza for the past eight years, Leo brings two decades of kitchen experience and a deep respect for simplicity. Quietly confident and endlessly focused, he’s the kind of chef who speaks through flavour rather than words. At Crisp, Leo’s precision anchors the kitchen. Calm, consistent, and fiercely dedicated, he’s the steady rhythm behind every service. His love of food traces back to his grandmother’s chicken soup, a humble recipe that taught him the power of cooking with care.
From Bariloche, Patagonia, Edu brings over 17 years of hospitality experience and a love for crafting moments that last longer than the drink itself. Calm under pressure and endlessly curious, he leads the Crisp bar with precision, creativity, and a healthy dose of humour. For Edu, a cocktail is never just mixed - it’s composed. Every flavour, gesture, and pour matters. And while his energy keeps the service flowing, it’s his quiet pride in perfecting the small details that makes him a cornerstone of the Crisp team.
From Toledo, Alejandro spent twelve years in Michelin-starred kitchens, including Azurmendi Jatetxea, Albora, and Punto MX, before bringing that experience to Ibiza. At Crisp, he treats the kitchen like family, mostly by taking whatever hard time Leo gives him and calling it love. Ask him his favourite dish and there's only one answer: paella. Though nothing beats what he grew up on: a traditional manchego stew with beans, chickpeas, and saffron, the dish he ran home to his grandmother's kitchen for after school.
Originally from Milan, Veronica brings a creative eye and a love for storytelling to every Crisp event. With a background in luxury interior design, she's naturally drawn to the details: the light, the movement, the atmosphere, and the small moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. She loves Ibiza for its freedom and multicultural energy, and at Crisp she gets to combine all of it: great events, good food, and plenty worth capturing. When she's not behind the camera, you'll find her watching the sunset at Punta Galera or by the sea at Ses Salines. Her Crisp favourite? The tuna cones, every time.
From Bariloche, Patagonia, Sofía brings fifteen years of hospitality experience with her. She's cooked summers in a mountain hut in Iceland, managed a restaurant in Andorra for eight seasons, and worked across England and Switzerland before landing in Ibiza in 2022. What she loves most is being part of people's biggest celebrations, and seeing how much guests love the food. Picking a favourite dish seems to be impossible for her; she loves it all too much. Off duty, you'll find her hiking in the north of Ibiza, ending most trips with a dip at Es Portixol.
